Bushfire Planning and Management

Strategen Environmental are committed to ensuring that our bushfire management professionals achieve required and recognised accreditations. The use of accredited professionals to undertake and prepare bushfire assessments and supporting documents assists in the delivery of consistent, reliable and credible advice that informs decision makers such as local government and the WA Planning Commission.

 

With over 60 years' practical and regulatory knowledge in bushfire management, risk assessment, wildfire suppression and fire ecology, Strategen has a respected and well established track record in delivering holistic fire management services to a broad range of clients.

 

The Strategen fire business unit is led by Roger Banks, a current Level 2 BPAD accredited practitioner and a previously accredited Level 3 incident controller and planner. Roger has over 32 years demonstrated experience and skills in forest management standards and ISO 14001 compliance, natural resource risk management, wildfire planning and suppression, prescribed burning, threatened species management and industrial plantation management.

 

Roger is supported by a dedicated team of experienced fire management professionals including Senior Consultant Zac Cockerill (Level 2 BPAD accredited practitioner) and Consultant Aminya Ennis in Bunbury (Level 1 BPAD accredited practitioner) and Consultants Linden Wears (Level 2 BPAD accredited practitioner) and fire mapping GIS specialist Vincent Dinh in Subiaco.
