The Gracetown Residential Development involved the expansion of the existing townsite, with the land development project being designed as a model of sustainable coastal living.

The development involved on-site retention of vegetation, provision of a mostly self-sustaining water supply, wastewater collection and treatment for reuse, and solar and wind power generation.

Strategen provided advice and prepared documents for environmental approvals including referral under Australian legislation and assessment under State legislation.

We also prepared an Environmental Management Plan addressing biodiversity, drainage and nutrients, Aboriginal heritage, noise, dust and waste.
